John Powers Memorial Basketball League

Players, Coaches, Referees, Workers and Families,

Due to the continuing health and safety concerns related to

COVID-19 Pandemic we have made the difficult decision to

take a sabbatical for the 2020 Fr. John Powers Memorial

Basketball League Season.

We have been optimistic that circumstances would have

improved so that we could operate safely and efficiently,

however, due to guidelines and restrictions put in place by

the State of Colorado, the County Health Department, School

Districts 60 & 70, guidance from Bishop Berg and Diocese of

Pueblo, and for the safety of all involved and the community

we feel this is in the best interest for everyone.

We understand this is very impactful for our League and the

decision was not an easy one to make but we are hopeful in

our continuation to return in 2021 stronger.

Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding.

We wish everyone the very best during these difficult times.

Please stay safe and healthy!!!
